A Century-Defining Event in the Making: Arab Women Authority Reveals Its Emerging Vision

The Arab Women Authority has officially announced that the end of 2026 will witness the historic unveiling of the identity of the “Female Personality of the Century.” The announcement will coincide with the finalization of arrangements for selecting the European capital that will host what is expected to be one of the most significant global events of its kind. The home city of the honored figure will also play a central role in hosting the celebrations surrounding the occasion.

In a press statement issued today, Yasmine Bekdache, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab Women Authority, stated that preparations have reached an advanced stage for the launch of an event expected to capture the attention of nearly eight billion people worldwide.

“This will mark the beginning of a new chapter in history under the title Personality of the Century,” Bekdache said. “Through this initiative, we seek to convey a powerful message to the world: Arabs are capable of making history, not merely witnessing it. We invite the world to await what will be unveiled on the coronation night of the Personality of the Century. If our ancestors immortalized their achievements through enduring monuments, we shall record ours in a different and equally memorable way.”
Bekdache further revealed that the competition has narrowed to a select group of extraordinary women whose achievements have left an indelible mark on the course of history through their outstanding contributions to human civilization and humanitarian progress.

She emphasized that the celebration honoring the Female Personality of the Century is intended to remain a timeless milestone, inspiring future generations and reaffirming the civilizational role of the Arab nation in enriching and advancing human heritage.
It is worth noting that the committee assigned by the Authority to oversee preparations is currently coordinating arrangements for an international press conference to be held in a major European capital in the coming months. During that conference, both the name of the selected personality and the host country for the landmark event are expected to be officially announced.
