WIFA, the International Women’s Football Association (WIFA), announced the launch of an effective program with several partners to develop women’s football in Africa.

Madeleine Morris, WIFA Programs Officer, said that this program falls within the scope of WIFA’s 2040 Strategy, which targets the African continent with the aim of developing tools, programs, and coordinated activities that contribute to making this game more exciting and widespread

Morris concluded her statement by saying that WIFA is open to any suggestions or opinions that would enhance and update this program, which aims to support emerging teams, build the capacity of both amateur and professional players, and develop the skills of a large number of female coaching staff and referees.
